Three thing to keep in mind as a UX Researcher
Here are three things to keep in mind as you work with a User Researcher and or progress in your career a UXR:
User Research is not static. Nothing about the topics we explore, the people we collaborate with, our competition, or the tools we use, are fixed. We focus our time and efforts on understanding living, breathing, evolving people, cultures, experiences, and other topics.
UXR is not black or white. There is no one right way to ask a question, gather feedback, collaborate with stakeholders, solicit participants, choose methods, organize discussion guides, analyze, synthesize or present learnings. There are multiple ways to approach and solve the problem and opportunities we explore.
The UX Maturity and cultural environment you are working in should be taken into primary consideration when designing, collaborating on, conducting, and sharing your research. Developing a keen awareness of these factors will help you adapt and resonate, quickly, and in more meaningful ways.
