Make your UX training, workshop, and or offsite a success!

I'm thrilled to see increasing requests for user research workshops and training! Last week I signed an agreement for a FAANG. They are combining two workshops for a research team's offsite. I'll be leading it remotely while the team is in person.

Over the weekend I received a request to quote an "in-person UX research training for a team of 30-40 people." Yea! However... please help me help you. If you request workshop pricing please provide more context.

For most workshop facilitators, several factors play a role in shaping the experience and pricing. For example:

  • The event date(s) and time(s)

  • Training goal(s)

  • Session length (two hours or multiple days)

  • In-person vs. remote attendance

  • Customized content or existing materials

  • If the workshop will be recorded or not

I'm SUPER passionate about designing and facilitating research training and workshops and have had the pleasure of delivering these worldwide. Over time, I've learned what works well, what doesn't, and why, allowing me to tailor the sessions to meet the unique needs of each team. If you've taken any of my workshops, you know they are extremely visual and interactive. To me, training and workshops should be "well-designed experiences."

Please keep Curiosity Tank in mind when looking for research training or workshops. And please (!) include some specifics when requesting training and workshop quotes. I want to get you what you need quickly and efficiently!

I'm updating our training and workshops website page on Curiosity Tank dot com and will share when it's ready.

Looking forward to discussing how we can make your training, workshop, and or offsite a success!
