Implementing Rolling Research for Redshift Digital

Six years ago, I built the user research program for Redshift Digital*. They didn't have user research before then, let alone Rolling Research. There were no UXR processes, platforms, or talent in place and only a few tools available compared to the incredible options we have today. This was 2016 :)

I loved this experience and had a ball exploring and prototyping various collaboration engagements, systems and tools, recruiting tactics, reporting styles, hiring several long-term contract UXRs, scaling, archiving, and more. This is where I built and managed my first participant pool and ran my first click tests. And where I really first understood how my design background, and visual outputs specifically, could truly benefit my teams.

This visual output became the weekly share-out format for our Rolling Research studies. The designers loved their simplicity and context. (Thankfully, I've since become a much better writer.)

In 18 months or so we ran over 100 studies!

Want to learn more about Rolling Research, scaling research, rapid research, how we did it, etc.?

JOIN US at our "All About Rolling Research" event!
We'll cover what it is and isn't, how different industry experts approach and manage it, and more.

Learn from Michael Saenz, who leads Rolling Research for Pinterest, Genny Mangum, who built the Rolling Research program for Zillow, and Michael T Lombardo who ran Rolling Research programs at Roku, Google, and Sony.

ALL registrants will receive the recording and the materials shared. The Eventbrite registration link is below.

*Redshift was acquired by Blink UX about a year after I left. The established research practice was key to this acquisition.
