Call for Case Studies & Events
Sharing user research case studies plays a pivotal role in documenting the process and outcomes of our research experiences and journeys. It's through these narratives that we, as a community, showcase the breadth of our expertise, the depth of our insights, and the impact of our work on product development and strategy.
Today, we extend a unique opportunity to our Fuel Your Curiosity community to contribute to a growing repository of knowledge and expertise.
The Power of Case Studies
Case studies provide primary evidence of our ability to navigate complex problems, devise innovative solutions, and drive meaningful change. They are more than just a portfolio piece or a requirement for job applications; they are a testament to the researcher's skill in storytelling, problem-solving, and strategic thinking. In crafting a case study, a researcher weaves a compelling narrative that not only details the challenges and solutions encountered but also highlights their specific role and the impact of their findings. This narrative is crucial for several reasons:
Demonstrates Your Expertise: A well-documented case study showcases your skills in research methodology, analysis, and strategic implementation.
Provides "Evidence": Case studies offer tangible proof of your accomplishments and abilities.
Enhances Credibility: Sharing your work lends credibility and can position you as a thought leader in the UXR community.
Facilitates Learning and Growth: By examining case studies, we can learn from each other’s successes and setbacks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
A Call to Share
Lysnna (formerly known as UsabilityHub) has graciously extended an invitation to the Fuel Your Curiosity community to feature your UXR case studies on their blog. This is a call for submissions of case studies that are accessible to the public (i.e., not password-protected) and devoid of confidential information. Whether you opt to be credited by name or prefer to remain anonymous, your contribution will undoubtedly inspire and educate UXR professionals and enthusiasts around the globe. We are seeking case studies across a wide array of topics, including but not limited to product design, service innovation, research management, and leadership.
This is your chance to spotlight your work, build awareness, and showcase your expertise on a platform that reaches a worldwide audience.

Why Your Participation Matters
By sharing your case studies, you're not only contributing to the collective wisdom of the UXR community but also reinforcing the value of user research in driving product and service innovation.
Your work has the power to inspire others, spark discussions, and highlight the diverse methodologies and approaches that define our field! Moreover, this initiative offers a platform for UXR professionals, especially those early in their careers, to gain visibility, receive feedback, and connect with like-minded individuals. It's a chance to demonstrate the impact of research beyond the confines of specific projects and to underscore the integral role of UXR in shaping user-centered products and experiences.
The art of UXR case studies lies in their ability to tell a story that resonates, informs, and inspires. As we compile and share these narratives, we strengthen our community and underscore the significance of our work. I look forward to seeing the diverse range of case studies from our talented Fuel Your Curiosity members and celebrating the achievements and insights that emerge from our collective efforts.
