“[Michele] dives deep into the structure of UX Research and how to approach a research project with a plan. The templates give you a framework that is simple to follow and allow you to organize your ideas in a meaningful, UXR specific way... a proven structure to come up [with] projects and execute on them… The skills you learn as a UXR are applicable to other tech roles that may have a lower barrier. Having this [series] under your belt will help you stand out and demonstrate to hiring managers that you're bringing many skills to the table.”

“Life is pretty amazing right now! I got hired by Amazon to lead UX research for the Alexa home service team for a 6 months contract, but then I received an offer for one year contract with Microsoft. I gave notice to work for Microsoft. I could explain my experience as a UX researcher working on the sponsored project with stakeholders and other researchers, and as the UX research lead for Earth Hero’s community feature MVP where I lead our team of 4 researchers. Together we created a strategic research road map for a 8 week sprint plan. (I got this gig right after I finished All-In). Curiosity Tank gave me all the tools I needed to serve design teams and lead UX research with confidence. I still watch the classes and go back to the templates on a daily bases.”

“My investment in the ALAP workshop series is already paid off. I have literally never written a research plan in my life. Simply having the examples provided has been so helpful…. Your course is helping me lean into asking critical questions to help refine what was already created. Just seeing how things are laid out is helping me get out of analysis paralysis/fear of a blank page. The anxiety-reduction is worth every penny and then some. I'm so glad to be part of this!”

“My experience has been exceptional. Not only are you learning specifically about UX Research, but you’re actually putting into action what you’re learning with the sponsored research projects. The content is thoroughly delivered and there’s a ton of templates and resources to use after completing the program. But most importantly, you get to learn from a caring, true expert in the UXR field.”

“I got my first full-time UXR job part way through ALAP and I'm glad I've had the program as a resource. It really was being thrown in the deep end but being able to reference your videos and All-In's materials for my own education has been an amazing resource to ground myself when I have doubt. I'm still working through everything on the portal but I've already grown so much using the tips and knowledge I've gained in recruitment and stakeholder buy-in. I really hope I can do the All-In sometime in the future because I feel like my skills will only expand even more.”

“My interest in UXR is officially ignited!… Still processing the flood of facts, with an ocean of resources, and schools of bright and curious All-Ins to observe. I've been working to strengthen my customer insight-building skills and there is no better person to lead that discovery than the wise and patient Michele Ronsen. I'm off to a great start already using the methods I learned.”

“Michele is a passionate researcher who elevates every research project she is a part of. She brings contagious curiosity, structured processes, and a user first mindset to every interaction.
One of Michele’s strengths is that she is self-sufficient while simultaneously a great collaborator. We navigated a net new space together, and Michele proactively dove in and completed thorough competitive research that was foundational for our team. She leveraged this to own the end to end process for our first UXR study. She ensured that we had a clear hypothesis, target user, and research plan and communicated updates early and often. I learned a lot from her level of rigor, and loved watching her excitement and expertise in the project space grow as she ran interviews and published an insightful and actionable report.
Above all Michele is a master of her craft. She is thorough, organized, and an absolute joy to work with! “

“Michele came highly recommended from a peer within our organization who spoke volumes about her capabilities. Through a short series of conversations, Michele was able to take the head scramble of items that we needed to research and organize the into an actionable plan. Through it all, Michele and team has not disappointed. Michele is a great listener and problem solver which shows throughout her work and her findings/presentations have hit the mark with leadership. She is flexible in how she presents to different audiences and it is proven with how it is resonating with those who see/hear her work. Having a partner in crime to take on market research has been a huge weight off our shoulders. Cannot thank Michele and team enough for looking at our work and coming back with new perspectives!“

“I have gained many insights into how I can apply my academic research skills and teaching experience to UX research. Along the way, I have learned the best practices for collaborating with stakeholders and the art of storytelling for research. I am able to apply all of the skills right away to my next UX research project. Most importantly, the workshops and the hands-on project experience helped me gain the confidence to transition from an academic researcher to a UX researcher.”

“There is no right or wrong answer, especially in terms of different tools. I was thinking I’d have to master every different tool and there are so many you can use as a researcher. For this project, I tried different tools, and they all work. There’s no “best” or “right” tool. It’s all about the tool you like and what’s best for you. That was a great takeaway.”

“I learned a lot, especially how to conduct better interviews. Before, I thought interviews weren’t difficult, that you just asked questions and got answers. But you really have to think about the questions and how to keep things moving. I learned how to interact with participants better and use my improv skills. And that’s a key skill for a UX researcher and I am more confident in that now.”

“There are lots of twists and turns when you actually do the work. One of the biggest learnings was the value of having a note-taking framework and more structure. Coming from an academic background, I was used to letting interviewees lead, but when you’re pressed for time and need to turn things around quickly, it’s ideal to have it all in a format where you can glean things really quickly. I learned how to do that with this project, in a smart way, and have the buckets I need to be filled.”

“This is the first time I’ve ever done a project like this from start to finish. I got more comfortable interacting with stakeholders, and that was really helpful. I got better at asking for things and leading discussions a bit more. I’m very used to working in a silo, or a light-free box, so being able to collaborate with others was a skill.”
