Thank you all to those who supported me on this fascinating climb
Becoming an entrepreneur is one of the hardest things I have ever done. And after 10 years, I’m happy to report it is still the most rewarding and challenging work for me.
Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. It is not just a thing you do or something you do once. It requires ongoing learning, evolution, risk-taking, and decision-making. Creating Curiosity Tank has changed my outlook on life and the world, how I spend my time, and who choose I spend my time with.
Here is a pic of my almost 9-year-old who loves climbing. And when she loves something there is no stopping her! This is similar to how I think about my business.
Blisters and all, she “bouldered” on Saturday and then rock climbed again on Sunday. I learned the difference between bouldering and rock climbing as well. Rock climbing is with ropes, where you repel. Bouldering is without ropes.
Rock climbing is akin to entrepreneurship in many, many ways. And it's analogous to user research too. The climb, the boulders, the repelling, and more.
This post is intended to inspire you to TAKE CHANCES! FOLLOW YOUR GUT! You may just surprise yourself! The view is pretty good and the perspective you gain is priceless.
Thank you all to those who supported me, and continue to support me, on this fascinating climb.
