Celebrate my 96th class!
Help celebrate my 96th class on Tuesday! I am teaching my Introduction to User Research class at General Assembly. Sadly, this may be my last class here for a while.
Like so many other organizations, they are trying to adapt to Covid-19 and how to conduct business in the current environment. There are no UXR classes scheduled for July and August (yet). For context, my classes are usually scheduled 3 months in advance.
So come on Tuesday! We will:
Make origami giraffes (seriously this is one of my favorite UX research activities to get into the mindset!!)
Talk about qualitative research and which methods to use when
Discuss how to get UX experience and break into the field
See a ton of design research in action
Learn how to make more informed design decisions
This class is perfect for anyone looking to learn more about the industry, refresh, network, and/or gain some (semi)formal training. I am an open book and am happy to answer specific research questions too - no sugar coating!
This class is so fun. I will be incredibly sad if I do not have the opportunity to teach it through GA again anytime soon.
