Celebrate my 96th class!

Help celebrate my 96th class on Tuesday! I am teaching my Introduction to User Research class at General Assembly. Sadly, this may be my last class here for a while.

Like so many other organizations, they are trying to adapt to Covid-19 and how to conduct business in the current environment. There are no UXR classes scheduled for July and August (yet). For context, my classes are usually scheduled 3 months in advance.

So come on Tuesday! We will:

  • Make origami giraffes (seriously this is one of my favorite UX research activities to get into the mindset!!)

  • Talk about qualitative research and which methods to use when

  • Discuss how to get UX experience and break into the field

  • See a ton of design research in action

  • Learn how to make more informed design decisions

This class is perfect for anyone looking to learn more about the industry, refresh, network, and/or gain some (semi)formal training. I am an open book and am happy to answer specific research questions too - no sugar coating!

This class is so fun. I will be incredibly sad if I do not have the opportunity to teach it through GA again anytime soon.
