31 Interesting UXR Jobs

The user research jobs landscape is changing, yet again! There seems to be a significant increase in openings compared to earlier this year and interesting UXR positions around the globe. I thought it would be helpful to answer two FAQs about these jobs newsletters. Enjoy!

Q: What inspired you to compile these regular UXR jobs newsletters?

A: There weren't any UXR job-specific newsletters or job boards when we started these job-focused posts! Now, there are several separate job boards that offer some roles, dozens of people and companies have duplicated the idea on their own blogs, and others share multiple jobs on LinkedIn via posts. While this is progress, there is still no consolidated, comprehensive list and most, IMO, over index on contract agency roles at Meta, Google, etc. (This is also why we never include Google or Meta positions unless they are internships.)

Q: Why do you continue to share UXR jobs newsletters given the above?

A: Compiling these job-focused newsletters is one way we can help you! Many subscribers have landed new jobs as a result. Yea! Hunting for these roles also inspires me scour multiple job boards, helps me stay on top of what's happening in our industry, and these issues receive positive feedback. Sometimes, the job themes also inform team training and Ask Like A Pro student discussions, too!

Speak up, get involved, and share the love!

And that’s a wrap!

We try to alternate between a theme and UX/UXR jobs, events, classes, articles, and other happenings every few weeks. Thank you for all of the feedback. Feedback is a gift, and we continue to receive very actionable input on how to make Fuel Your Curiosity more meaningful to you.

What do you think? We're constantly iterating and would love to hear your input.

Stay curious,

- Michele and the Curiosity Tank team

PS: It's always a good idea to check out open roles, even when you aren't actively looking. YOU NEVER KNOW ;)
