Over the moon to be presenting the above with Janet Standen on Monday at the QRCA conference. We're sharing the story about, and unveiling, the UX Lexicon, an evolving, interactive glossary of UX research terms.

Our presentation is chock full of (you guessed it!) tomatoes! I’m serious.

We use this analogy to demonstrate why you shouldn’t assume you are speaking the same language, or interpreting the same words, phrases, or acronyms as others in UX, UXR, MRX or related disciplines.

Let’s face it. Those of us who work in User Experience aspire to create terrific user experiences. That’s what we do. But what we have done with our own terminology is to create a mess.
